A Selection of Louvette’s Mass Effect Fan Art
I’m honestly not sure if I’m going to make more Mass Effect fan art in the near future - I guess it’ll depend if/when inspiration would hit me - but I figure this time’s as good as any to post a collection of my ME pieces. Mass Effect was that game which I got in deep and my inner fan motivated me to push beyond my comfort zone artistically. Some of the results were good, some not so good but I have absolutely no regrets in making them. :)
The rest of my Mass Effect fan art can be found here.
I’ve put the big red X and a NO on this work for a reason. Guys I really did not want to do this because as far as I’m concerned this matter’s been dealt with. However I still see people posting this artwork around the net so unfortunately I need to bring this to your attention. The person who made this collage DOES NOT have my permission to use my Thane images. The original works can be found here and here. I’ve already talked to this person and she has agreed to take it down and replace it with another image of Thane that’s not made by me. I’d appreciate it if people won’t post the version containing my work ever again. Thank you.
So I’ve been reminded that it’s been almost a year since Mass Effect 3 came out. And while I’m still not over my bitterness over how they ended the series (and how they treated Thane) I’ve decided to channel my energy into something positive.
See I want to do this project that goes way WAY beyond my comfort zone. Something I’ve never done before.
And I’m nervous as heck.
I’m an absolute n00b in this project. In the past a few people have suggested that I try doing it but I never really considered it until recently when I decided to try out something different.
Oh god this is scary but I’m going to do it anyway.
I needed to make this post so that I won’t back out of it. Yeah this post is quite cryptic but all will be revealed soon-ish. Give me several weeks.
Here’s hoping I won’t go cray cray in the meantime.
Here’s a look back at the pieces I made in 2012. I only made one traditional sculpture for the year, hopefully I’ll make more this year :)
